Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
"When
protecting the bottom line, security is job one." The Founder
of ISA is a United States Marine Corps veteran and a graduate
from The College of William and Mary. After his assignment to
the Foreign Service Division of the U.S. Department of State,
Mr. Coppage was named National Director of Polygraph Services
for the largest private security agency then operating in the
United States. He subsequently founded and is now Chairman and
CEO of International Security Agency, Inc. (ISA). Due to his
extensive and varied background in the investigative and consulting
arenas, this firm was soon recognized as a leader in its field.
Under his direction, ISA established a reputation as a professional
and dedicated security service satisfying a variety of requests
in cities around the globe.
Guided
by Mr. Coppage's leadership, this firm has operated on a multinational
level, servicing not only small and midsize businesses, but
also Fortune 500 companies for more than 30 years. Although
it is headquartered in New Jersey, ISA is licensed as an investigative
and consulting firm in other states.
During
the last three decades, Mr. Coppage has dealt with a cross section
of major industries. He has served as President of the New York
State Polygraph Association and the National Polygraph Association.
Mr. Coppage
has written several security articles for various trade publications
and is regarded as a recognized expert and authority in the
fields of polygraph and industrial security.
Mr. Coppage
is also a member of the Armed Forces Communications and
Electronics Association (AFCEA), The National Cargo Security
Council (NCSC), and the International Association of Chiefs
of Police (IACP).
Michael
T. Cerame
President
Michael has over 27 years of law enforcement
experience and recently retired as a Police Lieutenant
and the Commander of the Detective Bureau in the Middletown
Township, New Jersey Police Department. He is certified
as an expert in polygraph testing and has held the certification
since 1977 after graduating from the National Training
Center for Polygraph Science, New York, NY.
In 1985, Detective/Lieutenant Cerame was selected by the Federal
Bureau of Investigation to attend the first “Advanced
Law Enforcement Polygraph Course,” held at the FBI National
Academy, Quantico, VA.
Detective/Lieutenant Cerame maintained and refined his high
level of expertise by successfully completing numerous advanced
schools of interview and interrogation, at the Reid School,
the Moran Interview Theme Technique, the FBI Advanced Interrogation
School, and the FBI Crises Negotiation School.
For the past fifteen years, Detective/Lieutenant Cerame has
been a staff instructor at the Monmouth County Police Academy,
conducting in-service seminars for experienced law enforcement
officers, and basic training for the new recruits. He also
instructs Interview, Interrogation and the Detection of Deception
for the National Park Service, the New Jersey Attorney General’s
Office, Division of Criminal Justice, the Port Authority of
New York and New Jersey, the New Jersey State Rangers, along
with various county prosecutors’ offices around the state.

Yukio Ohtani

Senior Advisor
Yukio Ohtani announced both his retirement from Japan Airlines
Co., LTD and his acceptance as the role of Senior Advisor to International
Security Agency, Inc.
Allen Coppage,
CEO of ISA, when announcing the affiliation of Mr. Ohtani stated,
"I have always admired Mr. Ohtani's commitment to delivering
excellent results in every position he has held while maintaining
the highest level of professionalism. We are privileged to have
his insights and style become part of the management team of ISA."
Mr. Ohtani
has been with Japan Airlines Co., Ltd, since 1966 and has served
in numerous international senior management positions. His most
recent assignment was President and CEO, JALways Co., Ltd. Prior
to that he had been President and CEO Japan Air Charter Company
Limited and served as President and CEO of The Americas Japan
Airlines from 1995 to 1999. Mr. Ohtani graduated from Keio University
in Tokyo, Japan, majoring in Political Science and studied Management
at Ohio State University.
"This
is a time when security organizations have to accept the responsibility
of perfect performances in helping to quell the fears of both
the corporate world and general public. I am most comfortable
that we are closer to achieving that goal at ISA with Mr. Ohtani's
participation," Mr. Coppage stated.
Robert
M. Caron [email]
Vice President of Operations
Prior to serving as Vice President of Operations of ISA, Mr. Caron
served as Deputy Chief of Department for the Port Authority Police
of N.Y. & N.J. which is a Public Safety Department (Police/Fire/EMS)
of over 1400 sworn and civilian personnel, with full Police powers
in the sates of New York and New Jersey, with an annual operating
budget of $386,000,000. Mr. Caron’s responsibilities included
administration, training, labor relations, discipline, Detective
Bureau and Internal Affairs.
Mr. Caron
rose from police officer in 1970 to Chief of Detectives in 2000.
In November of 2001 he was responsible for all criminal investigations,
including the September 11th disaster. During that time he acted
as a liaison to the F.B.I., C.I.A., Secret Service, as well as
other federal and local law enforcement agencies. He was directly
responsible for the reorganization and restructuring of the department
since the September 11th disaster.
As a highly
decorated and well-respected member of the department, Mr. Caron
has received well over 17 different recognition medals and numerous
recognition and appreciation letters over the course of his career.
In addition,
Mr. Caron has 19 years experience as a spokesperson for Cargo
Crime Prevention and vulnerability assessments and is a recognized
expert in this field.
Mr. Caron is a 1979 graduate of the F.B.I. National Academy and
earned his Bachelors degree in Business and Communication from
Adelphi University in 1997.
